Included is the pre-requisite theory of ED240 Laser Safety, HLTINF005 Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments, PLUS our practical training across Hair Reduction, which is undertaken at the academy across 5 days.
This course package includes all components that you will need to successfully apply for a license with Queensland Radiation Health as a hair reduction specialist.

Who can complete the course?
- Diploma of Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)
- This is the perfect course for Beauty Therapists transitioning to a Laser Technician position within the medi-aesthetics industry.
In addition you must be 18 years of age or older and meet a minimum English language requirement.

Prior to your practical training, you will complete the pre-requisite theory via 100% self-paced online learning. Most of our students work full-time, have children, or are studying another course. This will provide you with flexibility prior to your training.
